Do you cover both the ceremony and the reception?
Yes. Coverage includes ceremony sound (officiant and reader mics, processional and recessional), cocktail hour, and the full reception with MC services — all with one trusted vendor and one seamless setup.
Are you an MC as well as a DJ?
Absolutely. Jamal is a professional emcee who handles introductions, announcements and timeline cues, coordinating live with your planner, photographer and venue so every moment lands on time.
Which areas around Chicago do you serve?
All of Chicago and the surrounding suburbs — including Naperville, Oak Brook, Schaumburg, Evanston, Oak Park, Arlington Heights and the North Shore. Destination weddings are available on request.
Do you carry liability insurance and backup equipment?
Yes. We carry the liability insurance most Chicago venues require and bring backup equipment plus technical support to every wedding, so there is never a single point of failure.
How far in advance should we book our wedding date?
Popular dates book 9–18 months out. Once you reach out we confirm availability quickly and secure your date with a signed contract so it is truly yours.
Can we request songs and build our own playlist?
Of course. You get unlimited song requests and playlist customization, plus must-play and do-not-play lists. Jamal blends your selections with an open-format read of the room to keep the floor full.
Do you offer uplighting, monograms and cold sparklers?
Yes — uplighting in your colors, a custom monogram in lights (GOBO), dance-floor lighting, cold-spark effects for your first dance and more are available as part of our Signature and VIP experiences or a la carte.
How does planning work leading up to the day?
You get unlimited planning support by phone and email, a detailed reception timeline, and planning meetings to finalize every announcement, song and special moment before you walk down the aisle.
